Wild West Fun on Ice at the Yeehaw! Easter Gala

Planet Ice Solihull was transformed into a Wild West wonderland this Easter as local skaters of all ages took to the rink for the Yeehaw! Easter Gala — a country and western-inspired showcase full of sparkle, skill, and community spirit.

The event was part of the Show & Skate programme, designed to give amateur skaters a chance to perform in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. With cowboy hats, checked shirts, and plenty of toe loops and twizzles, the gala brought a lively taste of the Wild West to the ice.

Friends, family, and members of the local community gathered to cheer on performers ranging from tiny tots taking their first steps in the spotlight to more experienced skaters showing off their polished routines. The audience was treated to an entertaining mix of solo and group performances, all set to toe-tapping country tunes that had the crowd clapping along.

Following the show, ticket holders were invited to join the cast on the ice for a free public skate, making it a truly inclusive celebration of local talent.
