Basingstoke Ice Rink Development

We’re pleased to share an update on the ongoing improvement works at the ice rink. We have now received quotes for the full refurbishment of both the rink and the spectator stands, marking an important step forward in our commitment to enhancing the facility.

In addition to the rink itself, we are fully committed to upgrading key areas, including the Reception, Skate Hire, three Birthday Party rooms, and the Bar/Café. As part of these improvements, we will be installing brand-new male, female, and accessible toilets in both the reception area and within the rink.

Plans have also been drawn up for a new First Aid room, Coaches’ room, Officials’ changing room, three additional changing rooms, and a dedicated Senior team changing room—ensuring a high-quality experience for all users of the facility.

We anticipate receiving confirmation from contractors on a start date within the next week, and we’re pleased to confirm that the project remains on schedule.
