Birthday Party FAQs

What should we wear?

Warm clothes, gloves, and hats are recommended to keep you nice and warm during the party.

It says there’s a maximum number of guests, can I have more than this?

Some locations can accommodate additional guests. For more information, please contact your local rink.

How long do the birthday parties last?

Birthday parties last for an hour and a half. This includes 1 hour for ice skating and half an hour to enjoy the party food.

Can I bring a birthday cake and candles?

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring a birthday cake and candles.

What happens next after I book the party?

You will receive a confirmation email with all the party details, along with a copy of the birthday party menus and invitations. Your local rink will contact you a couple of weeks before the party to confirm the birthday child and party guests' food options.

When do I have to confirm party guest numbers?

You need to confirm the number of party guests prior to booking. However, you can add additional guests by contacting your local rink later.

Do I receive invitations?

Yes, invitations are sent along with the confirmation email for you to distribute to the guests.

Can I hire more skating aids than the two included?

Yes, you can hire more skating aids either during the booking process or afterward.

Can the parents skate with the children?

Yes, four adults are welcome to join the children on the ice for free. Any additional adults will need to pay an extra fee upon arrival at the rink.

How do I get the vouchers?

Vouchers are sent via email to the person who booked the party, up to 48 hours after the party has passed, for distribution to the party guests as required.

How long do the vouchers last for?

Vouchers last 3 months for public skating. The 6-week learn-to-skate course voucher for the birthday child is valid for enrollment in the following term only.
