Great Britain take on Winter Olympic Hosts Italy in Four Game Series

Tickets for Great Britain's upcoming international matches against long-time rivals and 2026 Winter Olympic hosts Italy will go on sale next week.

GB go head-to-head with Italy at Planet Ice Milton Keynes on Thursday 30th April (19:30 face-off) and the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham on Saturday 2nd May (19:00 face-off). 

They will then finish the four-game series with two matches in Varese in Italy on Sunday 10th May and Tuesday 12th May. Ticket information for these games will be announced by the Italian Ice Hockey Federation soon. 

The two games in the UK are a great chance to see the national team as Peter Russell's exciting squad - with a mixture of experience and young talent - undergo their final preparations for the World Championship in Zurich, Switzerland later in May.

Great Britain Supporters' Club members will be able to purchase tickets with a 10% discount on offer for both games. GBSC management have contacted members about purchasing tickets.

Milton Keynes season ticket holders will be able to buy tickets in this period for the game at Planet Ice Milton Keynes on Thursday 30th April 2026 via their digital season ticket profile

Nottingham Panthers season ticket holders will also be able to purchase tickets in this period for the game at the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday 2nd May with a 10% discount. To access the early-bird window and 10% discount, Panthers season ticket holders need to enter their season ticket barcode number on the Motorpoint Arena website ticket page for this game. Please note it is not possible to reserve your Panthers season ticket seat but your seat may be available when purchasing your ticket.

Following the end of the early bird window tickets will revert to standard prices for all supporters. 

World Championship memories
The two sides met at last year's World Championship Division I Group A in Romania with GB securing a solid 5-1 victory on the way to promotion to the top division.
The game in Nottingham brings back memories of the pulsating battle in 2023 at the Motorpoint Arena as a final-day 5-3 win for GB over Italy secured a second gold medal and promotion in three years.
