Planet Ice Widnes is celebrating the incredible achievements of Caleb Eddleston, one of our Hockey Excellence graduates, who has returned from competing on the international stage at one of the biggest junior tournaments in the world.
Caleb’s ice hockey journey began right here at Planet Ice Widnes, when he joined our Hockey Excellence course in 2018. After graduating on 21 February 2019, he progressed into Widnes Wild Academy, where he has continued to develop his skills and passion for the sport.
His dedication and talent have taken him far. Last year, Caleb was selected to represent England’s Power of 12 team in Slovakia and this year he took another huge step forward. Caleb earned a place on the U13s AAA England team, travelling to Quebec to compete in the 65th Anniversary of the Quebec International Pee Wee Tournament.
This prestigious tournament is one of the most significant events in junior ice hockey, bringing together young talent from around the world. Caleb and his team returned home successful, making an impact on the international stage and demonstrating the strength of England’s rising hockey stars.
We are incredibly proud of Caleb’s achievements and thrilled to see one of our Hockey Excellence graduates reaching such heights. His journey is a fantastic example of where dedication, passion and the right development pathway can lead.
Congratulations Caleb, we cannot wait to see what is next for you.
