Mohawks Ice Racing Club 90th Anniversary

The Mohawks Ice Racing Club marked an outstanding milestone on Sunday 9th November as members, supporters and friends gathered at Planet Ice Solihull to celebrate the club’s 90th anniversary. More than one hundred past and present skaters, along with guests from across the world, came together to honour the club’s long and successful history.

The celebration featured historic photos, trophies, video highlights and stories spanning many decades. Several club legends also attended, sharing memories and reflecting on the Mohawks journey from its early days through to its modern achievements. It was a fantastic event that showcased the strength and spirit of the club’s community.

Planet Ice is proud to support the Mohawks and recognises the important role the club has played in developing ice sports in the region.

The Mohawks are looking for new skaters to join their sessions at Planet Ice Solihull. Those who enjoy skating and want to build speed can take part in the club’s four week course, which includes a completion certificate and the chance to record personal best lap times.
