Great Britain will host a Euro Ice Hockey Challenge Tournament next month with Japan, Poland and Romania coming to the UK to take part in the four-team tournament.

The competition will run from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th February and will be held across three venues – Coventry, Milton Keynes and Nottingham – to allow as many people as possible to see international ice hockey.

Ice Hockey UK General Secretary, Andy French, said: “It’s an honour to be hosting this tournament against some top hockey nations from across the world.

“It’s a great year for international ice hockey in the UK and we are just weeks away from hosting the IIHF Under-18 Women’s Ice Hockey World Championship Division II Group A in Dumfries”.

“Adding to that with the men’s international games against Latvia and Hungary, as well as the Men’s Ice Hockey World Championship Division I Group A in Nottingham later this year, it’s set to be a spectacular few months.”

Tickets for the Euro Ice Hockey Challenge will go on sale on Monday 9th January at 10am.
