Customer Health
We’re asking that all customers stay home if they have had any Covid-19 or flu-like symptoms in the past 14 days to avoid the spread of germs. Please ensure that you and all members of your group (including children) abide by the latest Government guidelines on social distancing at all times.
We require all of our customers to sanitise their hands upon entry. We also have hand sanitiser available throughout the rinks to be used as needed.
Extra safety resources for our customers
We want to make sure our customers feel safe at all times while visiting our ice rinks, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to speak to a member of the Planet Ice team.
Enhanced cleaning procedures
Our team members are all working hard to keep our ice rinks clean throughout the day. Our ice skates will be thoroughly cleaned after every use as well as equipment, counters, door handles and other high touch surfaces are also cleaned consistently.
We also deep clean our rinks each night after closing to ensure all of our surfaces are fully sanitised ready for the next day.
Team Member Health
We’re making sure all of our team members are healthy and ready to work.
We have briefings for our team at the start of each day with clear instruction about how to maintain the highest cleaning and hygiene standards in our rinks, including emphasising frequent and proper hand washing routines for both our team and customers.
All team members will receive a temperature check before their shift and we will continue to be very cautious in terms of any team member showing signs of illness, requiring them to follow the isolation and health guidance given by the government.
Our team members will wear face coverings and gloves while working and we have introduced screens is high contact areas like reception.
