With the announcement recently that the new Leeds ice rink will open early 2019, Planet Ice would like to invite expressions of interest to all parties in operating a Senior ice hockey franchise out of the venue for the 2019/20 ice hockey season.
The venue will have a 56 x 26-meter ice pad and a crowd capacity of circa. 2000 people including 1800 fixed seats with ancillary bar and catering facilities attached
To be eligible for consideration, interested parties will need to demonstrate that they have a sustainable business model. All applicants will be subject to a rigorous due diligence process and will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
In the first instance, interested parties should send an email to leeds@planet-ice.co.uk, or in writing to, Leeds Ice Hockey, Muckley Corner House, Walsall Road, Lichfield, Staffs., WS14 0BG to demonstrate an expression of interest and all expressions of interest must be received no later than Sunday, November 18th, 2018.
With regards to other user groups (junior ice hockey, figure skating, and other ice rinks users), further details will be released in mid-November for all interested parties to register interest.
