Work is well on the way to replace the ice pad in Planet Ice Blackburn and the following statement has now been released on its progress.
“The required repair works to the ice pad have turned out to be more extensive than first thought and therefore will take longer than originally anticipated. Planet Ice is committed to undertake the ice pad refurbishment in Blackburn to the highest possible standard and work is progressing well to achieve this. The work being undertaken currently will ensure the future of Planet Ice Blackburn going forward and will result in a much improved ice skating surface, for all user groups including Public skating, Hockey & Figure Skating”
