Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will work to improve the businesses’ market position and achieve financial growth. Working in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment, your primary responsibilities are to define long-term strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business opportunities, community outreach and maintain an extensive knowledge of the current and local market conditions. Work with multi channels and building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
Experience of working in an ice or leisure environment would be beneficial. You will also be required to work operational shifts as part of the Rink Management Team and deputise for the General Manager in their absence.

Your duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • To support the ever-increasing business demands as the organization continues thrive and grow.

  • To review the Core Courses schedule on a term by term basis and make recommendations to the HOD.

  • To ensure attendance data is frequently monitored and action implemented where appropriate in order to satisfy clearly defined attendance and retention targets.
  • To be responsible for the development of the skating pathway from the fundamental level through to competition level.

You as a person will need to be:

We are looking to add to our team and have an exciting opportunity for a Duty Manager to ensure the smooth running of our Ice rink venue. As a duty manager, you would be expected to take responsibility for the ice rink during your shift as the ‘on duty’ Manager.

We are looking for an individual with maintenance experience who can work on their own initiative and manage the arena functions and achieve levels of quality customer service with a prompt response to service the needs of our customers.This is a very hands-on, operational role, so the ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge.

Job Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of Plumbing, Electrics and General Building
  • Qualifications desirable but experience is essential
  • Excellent DIY skills, who can work largely unsupervised within a mainly domestic environment
  • Confident and enthusiastic enough to carry out fault-finding and basic repairs to equipment
  • To be able to maintain comprehensive logs, check equipment, ensure all equipment stays in good working order

You would be responsible for general maintenance, Ice Maintenance and maintaining the presentation of the building. You should possess the skills to work well both on your own and with the team to ensure the business can operate . You will be responsible for implementing the company policies & procedures as well as adhering to Health & Safety legislation.

Your duties and responsibilities are as follows:
• Ensuring the building is safe, clean and welcoming through completion of all H&S paperwork
• First Aid when required
• Assisting customers with any issues they may experience while visiting us
• Opening/Closing the building as a Key Holder

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Assist in ensuring the Health & Safety of customers and staff
